GARETHSARGE

Meet Your Officers Gareth

Guild Master

Gareth has been with Alith since the beginning of 2015, and in fact Alith was Gareth's very first guild in an MMO!  Gareth very quickly grew to love the people and ethos of the guild, greatly because he found that Alith's values matched his own.  Gareth is originally from South Africa, but moved to the UK back in 2008.  Gareth has always been passionate about the Elder Scrolls series, ever since the days of Morrowind, but the real gem for him is being part of this community which he cares about deeply.

After being a valuable member of Alith community for several months, Gareth very quickly progressed into the role of guild Raid Mentor, where he very successfully organised and led many guild Learning Raids as part of our Alith Academy.  After a very successful period of leading raids, Gareth finally applied to become a guild Officer, because he really wanted to help others to see the value of being part of a community like Alith.  Not only has Gareth proven to be a real integral part of the community, but his vast experience in the games raid & dungeon content has made him a fountain of knowledge, which he regularly shares with the rest of the guild. In the beginning of 2017 when Alith's former leader and Gareth's close friend Belazarus decided to move Alith to FF14 Gareth stepped up as guild leader for the new branch in Alith's history within ESO called Alith Legion.

Gareth really is at the heart of our community, and his laid back, relaxed, friendly personality makes him a very approachable & helpful person.  Gareth is always on hand to share a laugh, or offer a helping hand when it's needed, so don't be shy to give him a wave when you see him online, or ask him for advice on all things ESO related.
BELLA_GLOOM

Meet Your Officers Bella RL

Guild Leader

Isabella started playing The Elder Scrolls Online in July 2015. Originally not intending to join any guilds she was lured by Alith's non-hardcore, non-elitist, no drama policy and joined in February 2016. Alith was such a stark contrast to her previous MMO experience where she spent many years playing in a high stress, high requirement raid guild environment and she quickly fell in love with the guild's ethos and the warmness of the community. It was only 6 short months later that she joined the Officer team out of desire to help ensure the guilds rare ethos remained strong.

Bella hails from California and has lived in England with her husband and small menagerie of animal companions for the last decade. She's a night owl and loves gaming late night, and can almost always be found fighting passionately alongside her guildmates for The Ebonheart Pact in Cyrodiil's ever-lasting Alliance War. When not entrenched in battle she likes to spend time decorating her home in the recently introduced player housing, gathering and exploring the lush landscapes of Tamriel or doing dungeons with friends. Amongst many other interests she has a penchant for cats, dresses and all things dark and strange, and aims to add a bit of beauty to all things around her.

When former Deputy Leader Krysalan moved on to FF14, Bella stepped into his big boots to aid Gareth in leading the guild, now called Alith Legion, on to their next chapter. Her focus remains on community aspects and maintaining the positive, welcoming and inclusive environment she fell in love with.

RAINBOWZOD

Meet Your Officers Rainbow RL

Guild Officer

Jonny started playing Elder Scrolls Online in December 2015 and joined Alith a few short weeks later. As a new and entirely clueless Skyrim player, Jonny was quickly drawn in by Alith’s warm and welcoming atmosphere. Guild events became a regular feature in her life and convinced her that socialising with like-minded people was rather good fun.

In the autumn of 2016, Jonny applied for the role of PvP raid leader and spent many happy months charging off cliffs on a camel and leading fellows Alithians to death or glory on the battlefields of Cyrodiil. She proved to be highly capable at achieving her main aim of providing as many opportunities as possible for guildies to die with the introduction of duelling events, as well as teaching them how to kill each other in PvP training.

In February 2017, Alith morphed into Alith Legion and Jonny decided it was time to take on the next challenge by applying for the role of Guild Officer. Gareth and Bella, in their mighty new roles as Guild Master and Leader, bravely accepted her as the new officer responsible for raid leading. From this position, she hopes to build on Alith Legion’s epic raiding history and take the events’ calendar from strength to strength. She is looking to ensure there are regular, enjoyable events for all Alith Legionnaires regardless of playstyle, level or willingness to kill so that every guild member can experience the same high quality raids which made Jonny feel at home in Alith Legion in the first place.

In real life, Jonny is a Physicist turned Engineer from England who enjoys rock climbing, rowing and people bowing before her yelling “Kneel before RainbowZod”.

RANIANA

Meet Your Officers Raniana Meet Your Officers Rainbow RL

Guild Officer

Solvor came to Alith in 2016, after returning to Tamriel from her adventures elsewhere, and was quickly charmed into staying by the friendly, welcoming community. It only took a short while for her to develop a strong sense of belonging and admiration for the guild's friendly ways, seeing in it the soul of her ideal for a guild.

It was The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim that drew Solvor to the franchise, and to the gaming world. With the launch of ESO, she delved right in to explore the world of Tamriel once more, now with friends. Having an on-and-off relationship with the game at first she settled down for good once she found her home in Alith. Now she enjoys lazy days in the home she shares with her partner Andy, furnishing it to be just right, and always happy for guildies to drop by. When Alith was reborn as Alith Legion, her passion for helping people have fun made her step up as officer to do her part in ensuring the guild's continued glory.

Solvor is a bookworm and lore-enthusiast, always looking for good stories to enjoy in her free time. She lives on the pleasant eastern coast of Norway, with her partner in all things but crime, Anders. Having lived in the countryside all her life she loves the outdoors, nearly as much as she loves wandering the virtual expanses of Tamriel.

MR_REDHEAD

Meet Your Officers Mr Red

Guild Officer

Bjørn Erik first found the elder scrolls games with the release of Skyrim and was excited about the release of Elder Scrolls Online. ESO was his first MMO, and he has been playing the game since beta and joined Alith less than a year after launch. He had been in a few social guilds in the past but none of them had come close to the amazing community and wonderful activities he had experienced with Alith. He quickly got to know the community and when he saw how welcoming and friendly everyone was and how much the guild had to offer with events he quickly grew to love Alith and it became a second family. And after he experienced his very first raid with Alith he made ESO trials his second home.

In the autumn of 2015 he joined the raid leader team as a PVE Raid Leader because he wanted to share his love and knowledge of the trials with the rest of the guild. Raid leading became his pride and joy and he was always happy to share his knowledge and experience with fellow guildies. Mr_Red started off leading our learning raids and later progressed to teaching Veteran modes’ of both dungeons and trials. He formed strong bonds with his fellow raid leaders and enjoyed working with them as a member of the team.

After 2 years leading raids he stepped down to take a break from ESO endgame, but was unable to stay away form the community for long and after just a few months break he came back to join the officer team. Bjørn is from Norway and works as a locksmith. Installing different security systems, emergency escape mechanisms and making buildings accessible to people with physical disabilities. He is always friendly and willing to share his knowledge with all guild members so do be sure to send him a whisper if you need some help.

CAROLINEU

Meet Your Officers Caroline

Guild Officer

Caroline's first computer game was drawing faces with letters and numbers. This was when computers were the size of an en-suite. She played RPG's with home-made dungeons and hexadecimal dice. This lead to 'tennis' on the home-made Sinclair ZX81 and its’ games, with the 16k expansion of course! The QL enabled better games but then came Windows 95! And using LAN she was able to get her fist experience of multiplayer games with two people in the same room. She has a broad experience of gaming and RPG's.

She had played almost every game in series when she received The Elder Scrolls as a Christmas present in 2015. After a couple of months of solo play she tried gaming with a guild for the first time. She chose Alith, as they sounded kind for this new type of play. 2016’s Christmas present was a headset, qualifying her as an "Awesome Grandma" Quote from Owen aged 11 and a half which is the highest level in that skill line.

Caroline and her husband Graham (also a member) have 3 children and 8 Grandchildren. Caroline’s hobbies besides PC games includes dog shows and her Japanese Spitz “Yuki” and has qualified for and entered Crufts: The World's Largest Dog Show for the last 3 years, each year since Yuki was old enough to show. They once got VHC for their Crufts class. Three of her grandchildren are Swedish and she loves visiting. Now those visits include one of the Japanese Spitz puppies she bred in the summer of 2017 and who will be shown in Scandinavia. Caroline had never been to a dog show so that was a steep learning curve too. She hopes to show her puppy “Featherpaws” next year too, (named after a guildies’ character name). Caroline also loves; gardening, needlecrafts, genealogy and art, knitting, knitted lace, crochet, and embroidery.

Caroline says Alith and now Alith Legion supported her from “what is a DD” through to understanding what “proc.” means and still gets support. She then tried PVP and now finds its where she spends much of her time, thanks to the fun raids. Caroline’s goal as an officer is to help people as much as she has and is being helped. Especially for any who find the learning curve as steep as she did. Most of all, to her Alith Legion means having fun, laughing with friends and helping each other hopes every guildie feels the same way.
