Alith Legion birthday and member awards event!

Good folk of Alith Legion!

It’s my great pleasure to announce this Member Awards Social Event! We have been receiving lots of nominations already but there is still time so keep sending them in to me or any of the other officers. On Saturday 2nd of March we will be announcing the winners of the awards. But that is not the only celebration that evening! 2nd March is also the birthday of our very dear guild Alith Legion! Now 2 years ago Gareth took over as Guild Master and we updated the name from Alith to Alith Legion. We are very proud and happy that Alith Legion has been going strong for two years now, and that is thanks to all of you that keep making the guild the best it can be every single day. And it’s our joy to be leading the guild! So here is to two great years and for many to come!

We want to mark this with a screenshot competition, with a theme of ‘Celebrating Alith Legion’. So if you have a prized shot from an especially fun time with the guild or want to take a new picture of something else Alith Legion related, then post it in direct message to me or any of the officers. Feel free to add a comment or description of the picture. All screenshots will be shown off in a forum post after the event, but the 3 best will win prizes and be displayed in discord during the event. Last chance to send in your screenshot is 28th February (one entry per person).

1st place: 30 000 gold
2nd place: 20 000 gold
3rd place: 10 000 gold

We will also have some fun events, but the exact details are yet to be decided. Zos has not revealed the next in game event or when it hits, and if it’s something fun we would like to implement it into this event. If this does not work then fear not as we have several classic Alith Legion games to pick from, or even some new ones. More info on this will come so stay tuned, but for now we are very much looking forward to seeing your screenshots.

"Alith - Nordic - A noble sort. This one remembers a particular event with Alith. We were facing off the evil aldmeri dominion, this one was riding on her brave elk into battle... but the other soldiers were not agreeing with this ones choice. Dark moons. But luckily for this one, these brave, oh these courageous Alith warriors stand up for this one and joined riding Cyrodiil on their elks. And what is more noble, more courageous, than being there for your friends? Bright moons and may you walk on warm sands, Alith. - Paws"

"Happy second Name Day, dearest Alith Legion!
Here are five of my many fond memories from the last two years: Lining up for the "Broken Hearts, Broken Bones" version of naked cliff dive; goofing around after the formal guild photograph at Winter Wanderland, the event which gave us the now legendary lost sweetroll; and setting the tone for the hilarious Belkarth flash mob in the latest New Life event. The ghosts coming in from the sea are here to remind us how most Alith Legion events end, and in the foreground: the persistent few who lingered until the sun came up over Stros M'Kai after last year's bloody birthday duelling.
The Alith Legion journey continues to new and ever grander adventure. Cheers, everyone!"
