Event Description:

Alith Legion Header Learning

Alith Legion Academy learning raids are a program specifically designed to help our level 50 CP120+ members take the step up into the 12 man raid dungeons without the fear of messing up, or the confusion of not knowing the tactics. Our Officers and PvE Raid Leaders work as a team to schedule, organise and host regular "Learning Runs" that everyone is welcome to sign up for, regardless of your experience. Alith Legion Academy is specifically designed to help you to learn the ropes of the high level PvE raid dungeons of ESO.

These are casual raids, at the various ESO "Normal Mode" Raid Dungeons (Aetherian Archives, Hel Ra Citadel, Sanctum Ophidia, Maw of Lorkhaj) with an emphasis on "Learning". All members of all experiences are welcomed to attend these raids. Our Raid Leaders will ensure that these are relaxed, casual, fun, pressure-free raids with focus on teaching members the mechanics & tactics of each of the raid dungeons. These raids are ideal for those who are either new to ESO raid dungeons, or still working on becoming confident with them. Members are free & welcome to attend as many of these raids as they like, so they can continue to grow in confidence & experience in their own time.

Level requirement: Level 50 with a minimum of 120 Champion Points

These are our official guild learning raids, and everyone is welcome to join. These runs are led by our guild Raid Leaders, ensuring that this is a relaxed, friendly, fun, pressure-free experience, just as you'd expect from an Alith Legion event! Although we want everyone to feel welcome to join the run, and first timers are indeed welcomed, we also want to do what we can to ensure your experience will be a positive one. So to avoid the distress of our members going through an unnecessary suicide run, we've come up with some basic requirements.
This is a Learning run, which means that before each boss fight and at the start of the raid, our supportive Raid Leaders will take the time to explain the dungeon tactics. This will include the boss mechanics and various instructions for a successful fight. During this, feel free to ask questions to better understand the fight. We also ask that you don't rush through the dungeon - follow the Raid Leaders instructions and allow them the time needed to explain the tactics prior to each fight, until everyone is ready.

Requirements:

Level requirement: Level 50 with a minimum of 120 Champion Points
To prepare yourself for this challenging content and give us the best chance of success, please equip yourself with the best gear that you have available. (As a guide, we would recommend that this would mean purple-quality set gear rated at 120 Champion Points or better.)
First Timers AND casual raiders are welcomed to join.

What to bring along:

• Magicka/Stamina/Health/Crafted potions of your preference.

• Food & Potion of your choice.

• Soul Gems.

• Repair kits.

Remember to bring PLENTY of the above. Fighting without these will not only increase your chance of dying - it'll also increase the risk of your party members dying.

Discord:

Please make sure you have Discord installed and set up prior to the run. Let the raid leader or an officer know if you still need to be approved for the Alith Legion Discord server. We require you to install it even if you don't have a microphone, just being able to hear instructions is a great help and very important. If you for some reason cannot use Discord or have difficulties with hearing instructions, let us know before the event so we can make other arrangements.
During the raid we would kindly request that we maintain Discord silence during the time the Raid Leader is explaining tactics. It's a challenging role for our raid leaders to lead, co-ordinate, and give instructions for a 12 person group, and impossible for them if everyone is talking over each other - so please show due respect and patience.

Preparation:

To better prepare you for your run, we welcome you to watch some of our raid video guides on our forum. They will help you familiarise yourself with the mechanics. We will of course also go through step by step tactics during the run too.
Trials can be a challenging experience and you should be prepared for some deaths. In case of death we would require for you to please remain patient, understanding, supportive and to not put unnecessary pressure on other group members. We raid leaders/officers will of course do the same.
We cannot guarantee that the run will be successful so, we'd ask that you come along with a relaxed, casual attitude, and appreciate the fact that some runs will be successful, and some won't. Some members will be more experienced than others, and we don't want anyone to be made to feel like they're "not good enough". The key is for us to have fun, and not take the whole thing too seriously, so no raging please. Please notice the end time to the event: If the run isn't completed by that time, the run could be terminated. Please, do not be disheartened. Of course, you are more than welcome to sign up for the next available run!

How to sign up:

• All members who wish to join, should sign up and remember to state your role, level and champion point rank.
• If the event has reached maximum capacity - you can still sign up as a reserve and may be invited to join if spaces become availableIf there are enough reserves for an additional raid then a second group will be set up.
Please aim to arrive at least 15 minutes before the start time since that designates the time we start the dungeon run. Invites for the group go out 15 minutes before the start and if you are not there by that time, you may risk being replaced. We can't hold up 11 other members as a result of 1 member running late.
Note that all calendar times are in CET (Central European Time).
We're looking forward to seeing you all at the run!

Extra Info:  For reference:

Off Tank: Is a DD who can switch gear to become a respectable Tank, or a Tank who can switch gear to become a respectable DD. Again it is not often you will be required to Tank so you will be in the group as a DD for majority of the time. However, in certain situations when the Raid Leader deems that a 2nd tank is needed you should be able to switch gear to assist the group.
